Mr Akram is the founder and the Principal of Alma Building Approvals. Mr Akram's career background and experience spans across both local government and private sectors, having held previous positions as a director of Alma Engineers. Having obtained masters degree in the Engineer field allowed him to develop an extensive knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, the Acts and Regulations and Australian Standards. Our responsibility in the construction industry as Accredited Certifiers (AC) and acting as Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) allow us to work with unique and challenging projects where we assess the developments against the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards and Local Council regulations. Our company undertakes and addresses Construction Certificates, Complying Development Certificates and Occupation Certificates. Our company’s extensive experience in all aspects of building certification, design consultation and inspections on projects of a large scale and complexity enable us to assist our clients at any stage of the building and development process which could be from concept design development to completion and post occupation. Steven’s career background and experience spans across both local government and private sectors, having held previous positions of Building Compliance Manager at Eagle Consulting Group and Chief Executive Officer of Trevor R Howse and Associates. Having obtained a double masters and bachelor degrees in the fields of Building, Building Surveying and Fire Engineering coupled with his significant project experience, Steven has developed an extensive and in-depth knowledge of the Building Code of Australia, the Acts and Regulations and Australian Standards. Our company’s diverse areas of expertise and unrestricted accreditation enables us to assist our clients at any stage of the building and development process, from concept design development to completion and post occupation.
